nice rides gangstar305, and madmax22, madmax do you break rims when you jump, hey pythonfan, your fuel tank mod, are you trying to light it on fire with your wheelie bar, i think thats bad spot for the fuel tank, why not do the mid-tank mod, azzman has one of the best mods when it comes to mid-tanks, i took a bite off of his and been adding my own things heres what the beast looks like now

Yeah, mine is not worthy of a photograph. I have car parts elbow deep all over the bench. It would drive a sane person nuts. I bought SB13's XL, so I had to do up a body for it. Bud

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
I have one bone stock X RTR with an XL spur and Terra Pins.... I like the F4.6 and I have a lot of parts to destroy before I convert it to XL. It was one of those cheap Ebay trucks the guy was selling in masses for about a week there. I bought it new for 250 and a crazy 41 dollar shipping charge. It was supposed to be a gift for my son, but it got here way too late.
I have one stock XL with the 5.9 and an Ofna pipe.
I have two Picco powered trucks that I have converted to XL width and length.
I have one LRP powered truck that I have converted to XL width and length.
I have one XL truck that was supposed to be shipped today, another forum member gave up and offered it to me. It is stock.
I have another XL that I am building from left over parts and Ebay parts that will be powered by a Supertib modded engine. I about have that chassis done, just waiting on the engine and differential braces.
I guess that is five with one on the way and one being built. Six here with one on the way, hopefully seven total this week. It will be a couple of weeks at least before I see my Picco again.
I had three 21s or 25s, who knows what they were, but I converted them to XL size. Not much left of the original trucks now. Bud
There's the project truck.

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
Here's our Savages. Savage XL is mine, and the E-Savage and Savage SS is my father's.
Savage XL is modded with a Futaba 3PM 2.4GHz radio and soon will have a Pro-Line Ford F-650 body for it. The Savage SS has couple mods that I can't really remembered and the E-Savage is modded with a Novak HV-Maxx brushless system, Pro-line Razorback quad body, and HPI ATV rider.

[link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbfEt9pks5U]Here is a couple being run by the boys[/link], the white Mega Cab is just about shot, it has been on its lid so many times we have about ground through the plastic. Looks like I painted it in the end of July.
[link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZ_QuBQ68TE]This is the candy apple red and silver[/link] 72 Chevy body. I usually run the Mega Cabs though. None of my XL chassies have a roll bar, so I use the big cab body as a roll bar. I have been saving the blue 72 for some high speed video when I get my P3 back from supertib. [8D]
You are partially correct though, I have a few bodies I did up for personal memory reasons and just run a Mega Cab when we go running.
Speaking of supertib, the post man just left the parts I needed to complete the chassis for that modded engine.
I will post another photo of the chassis when I finish putting the parts together. This one I built from accumulated cheap Ebay auction parts and left over parts from other projects. Bud
Edited to add that I love the Terra Pins! Great traction, look good, handle nicely at speed. They balloon, but they still retain a decent contact surface. They do require a gear change to a lower gear though or you wind up with [link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExDPpRdj_Vg&feature=related]insane top end[/link], it would still do wheelies, but it really slammed over backwards hard when it started up. That is an 18/47 gear ratio....with a fairly rich low end to help keep it right side up and cool down from the long passes....another who cares body, a 1/10th scale long crew cab... it came with my Truckzilla when I bought it.

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
That is actually an Orion 26 made by Picco with an aftermarket head. It is just in there for set up, when my modded Picco gets back, this is its ride! I am going with the 2 speed and the 17/52 gearing. The steel spur is the Hpi 52, with the Terra Pins, you really need it. I have a Picco in one with a 17/47 gear on Terra Pins, it will do wheelies, but it it really is overgeared. Yes, that is the 086, waitiing to give a Picco my favorite howl... Bud

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
Bashed some more tonight. Only got one good pic but got some great footage just need to find a video converter to download.
I changed my setups a bit...Went to 50k in the front diff and 10k in the rear and run 4 pre load clips instead of 8 and the truck handles remarkable now. I smoked a cb the other day do to forgetting to loc tite the mesh screws so I went to a 19t cb and like the top end but the low end just sucks. Im gonna get another 16t and 17t when I get the extra money. I also fabbed up my own wing mount.
I had to do some patching on the body.
