Starting problems
Ok last weekend when I had my Savage out I changed fuel and tuned the LSN setting a little. BEFORE the tune it was very difficult to start but it finally did turn over and it was running great just not starting well. After the tune it was still being a difficult to start.
Today I could get the thing started... where would you all start? Glowplug?
BTW I it's a not a pull start, I use the Rotostart.

RE: Starting problems
Change the glow plug for a new one and go back to the basic settings for your motor. As long as your engine is not worn out it will start. Then, only make small changes when the thing gets upto operating temp. Tune the hsn first 1/8 turn at a time. Once that is dialled do the lsn 1/16 turn at a time. Once you have it well tuned it will start easily and idle well.
Good luck

RE: Starting problems
Just got back from my LHS and they said my carb was bad since the LSN screw kept on spinning and it's not supposed to. Does this sound right? Is that screw supposed to keep spinning? Also my glow plug and ignitor was still good.

Its not like the HSN which will bottom out...the LSN will keep turn to a certain point cos it will open the carb like the idle screw does, when you get to the bottom.
By the time it should stop the carb would probably be half open! thats why it can be tricky to get the LSN set bach to factory settings.

RE: Starting problems
So it won't stop either way then is what your saying??? Will it get tighter and tighter in either direction?
