Default SS25 Dog Bone O-Rings

I've an SS25 that I got over a year ago as an RTR. It's been a great truck and, by lurking in a lot of threads in this forum, I've cranked in some goodies and upgrades: among them are improved aftermarket brake(s), a reverse module and just recently a 3-spd trans (which is way cool). Recently I took out the dog bones just to take a look at them and look for any wear issues which there weren't.

I was looking at the parts/assembly diagrams and noted there's supposed to be (?) a small O-ring between the dog bone and the cup on the inner end. My truck has none of these O-rings. Is this something I need to worry about and install or ... [] Any clues would be helpful.

Thanks.

Mike

O-ring/slice of fuel tubing supposed to keep 'um in place, eh? Hmmm ... Since mine have never slid out of the cups at either end, and it's been bashed pretty hard, I'm thinking I don't have a problem?

Thanks.

Mike
