Tower still says that they are not available til mid January. I am not sure if they have been released yet. Check HPIs web site for a release date.
BTW, I am jealous.[:'(]

Word from a girl that works there is that they will be out after the Holidays. Just to be sure, these are truggys, not monster trucks. I've seen them at the track.

Actually, for what it is, $650 is'nt bad at all. This is a RTR that is way more advanced, weight wise and handling wise, than your normal MT. Jammin is coming out with a CRT RTR also.
I sold my LST and went with the Jammin CRT Pro which ended up costing about $1300 to get it on the track. I can tell you from experiance, the CRT is way more durable during those cart wheels that happen than the LST would ever be. It also handles way better (and I'm still messing with it to make it better) and is easier to drive. You don't have to have all the stars aligned to make that big double or triple and if you do miss it it's no big deal.
IMO it's already paid for it's self in the frustration department.
I'm not bagging on MT's, but there is no comparison between the two platforms. They both have their place in the grand scheme of things. I really didn't have a choice because the track I hang out at races the truggies and the MT's together. I'm glad they forced me to change.

RE: lookin at the hellfire
i think it will be $650 because if the rtr savage 25 se is like 500 something
the hellfire has to be $650 but thats an nig burning hole through the wallet.
