Hello,

I have a Savage that I traded for and seems to be in fair to good shape. There are some hop ups already installed on it like aluminum "A" arms and better shocks. I haven't even started it yet. I plan on modifying it a bit including a new engine. I really don't know what would be the best as well as least maintainance requiring engine. Thought about the new OS 30, but it is rather pricey.

If some of you experienced Savage owners could post some links here for Savage specific websites, I could furthur my research for the perfect upgrades. Suggestions for engines and other hopups are always welcome.

I like to use EBay for Savage parts. I have had good luck buying form RC stores that sell there. Most RC stores have better prices on Ebay than on there websites.

For an engine I like the XTM 24.7 pro. There are a number of threads here that talk about this engine. I like mine a lot.
