hey hey hey i just installed a 3speed on my savage and umm well it doesnt shift into second or 3rd. i have an sts.28 with 15/52 gearing. I didnt touch the settings so help appreciated.

nvm my thingy on the inside whatever u call it was backward dont kno what its called

You gotta make sure the thingy is going the right way... the thingy is the most important part of the 3 speed tranny

You also have to be sure the thingamabob and the thingamajig are correctly aligned with the thingy before you tighten down the whoseywhatsit.

you guys confuse me! get your manual and start plying with the shift point! your manual will tell you everything you need to know.

i think you will find that it does shift, it just does it as soon as u put on the power, its set up for a 25. Try going about 3/4 throttle so it aint flat out and see if it shifts (25 power) and then if it does, just lengthen your shift points.
