WHt is the lightest wheel+tyre combo
afternoon all, and merry chrimbo
i was just looking at my sav thinking i cant wait till the new year to get her up and running again (thanks to members from my last post). Anyway i was wondering, what would be the lightest wheel and tyre combo to slap on her, as that is where a lot of the weight lies on a savage.

to my knowledge i think hpi dirt bonz or proline bow ties are the lightest tires...im not sure about the lightest wheels are. i run dirt bonz on 8 Spoke hpi wheels. http://www.hpi-europe.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=3135

Standard proline dish wheels with panther lp komodo dragon MT tires. They are basically buggy tires that fit over standard "maxx" sized wheels.

Sorry but IMHO those Komodos look way too small for that truck...
