Default Awww Crap....

Hey guys...merry christmas everyone........always learnin new stuff from you all!!!!
My very first post!!!Well im having continual braking problems......just wondering is getting a stronger servo would be the answer.....my truck wont stop!!!![:'(]No good!!!!!
I have disambled the breaks and cleaned them...tried everything!!!!!No stoppies for me!!!!...sigh...i miss the days of endos!!!!
Any help would be appreciated!!!

i think i read it somewhere on here.but,stick a bit of a biro tube inbetween the spring n the nob bit on the linkage arm.
i tried it on mine n the brakes worked loads better..
only had my truck 2weeks so im still a newb but
hope it helps

Dual disc brakes will make you flip over onto your top if you have them and hit the brake hard. Just make sure your linkage is set up properly. The brake lever thing, ionno what it's called, should be hooked up right on the end of the brakes so that when your brake linkage pulls it gets the most power. Other than that just make sure everything's adjusted right. The stock brakes on a RTR 25 savage aren't very good though anyway's i'd suggest getting new ones.

hehehe...guess i shoulda mentioned i have the savage le...has the dual discs.....yeah found out the hard way you could end up on the roof!!!.......to me it just doesnt seem like the servo is working properly......think i might have cooked it somehow??[:'(]
any suggestions as to what kind of servo...high torque or regular work fine????

and anyone consider putting hydraulic brakes on their truck...like some of the large scale cars????

Buy a high torque servo for your steering.
That is the one to up grade. I put a 200 oz
Airtronics in my sons savage. Then take
the stock HPI steering servo and move it to
the throttle/brake position. Works great for
my sons truck.
