RE: low cg for savage
I don't have the LCG chassis on my Savage but I did the LCG mod to the suspension and it made a world of a difference in the handling of this beast. Now I know you can do a search on google for the savage LCG chassis and it will pull up a online store that makes and carries them. They also have pics posted of them installed. The only problem I can see is that it leaves the brake discs exposed and very close to any object that my pass under the truck. If they are offering a custom skid plate for their chassis then I think it would be well worth it, but a little risky by my standards without it. You can also check ebay, that same company sells them there too, and they include a link to their website on all their auctions. Sorry I couldn't help more.

RE: low cg for savage
there are two dominate names in the LCG chassis department. Atom RC or Fastlane Machine (they are the same company) and Twisted Toys, here are the links for both of them respectfully:
http://www.atomrcp.com/savageproducts.html
http://www.twisted-toys.net/order.html
you decide which one is better..
