Default Throttle linkage

I was given a Duratrax servo linkage kit as a Christmas present. It comes with zero fitting instructions.

The Duratrax part # is DTXM5052.

Does anyone have a diagram showing how it is fitted??

Cheers

I can't comment exactly for the Duratrax product, most people use the Ofna linkage kit but I have two guides which include linkage help

http://dadstoy.uwsag.com/files/SavageBreakdown.pdf (Acrobat format)
http://dadstoy.uwsag.com/files/Savage%20Breakdown.doc (Word format)

Hope they help.

I've never changed my stock setup (yet) but I hear the Ofna linkage mod makes a huge difference. Maybe I'll do that today if the weather is as bad as it was yesterday.

The reason for the question about the throttle mod is, I was given a load of alloy parts, enough to build a Savage 25 including a 25 engine.
There was no radio box or any of the throttle linkage pieces. I asked a colleague what he used and he said he had a spare DuraTrax linkage that was unused but came with no instructions that I could have. THat is the reason I am not using the stock set-up and need advice on the DuraTrax set-up

Thanks

RCDadChicago,

Thanks for the info, I should be able to work it out from your pics and the bits I have.
Thanks once again.

That linkage will work fine. It is an exact Ofna "slider" style clone linkage. Heres a few pics of my setup. Everybody does it a little differently, but this gives you an idea how it's done. I tried severall different configurations and this setup works the smoothest:
