I have a Savage 25 now and want sell it and build a kit. Is the 4.6 SS worth waiting all the time to sell it on ebay and wait to buy the 4.6 SS offline?

well my buddy has a Savage LE...(with the 3 speed) and my SS 4.6 kills it...and the kit comes with extra a-arms and so on...but u gotta get electrnoics...

I just got myself a savage 4.6ss. I just finished building it, and am waiting on a engine to come back in stock (the os .30 vg), at least I think that is going to be the engine I want. I also went ahead and upgraded the transmission to a 3-speed. I took all the gears out and bought the 3-speed unassembled, and built it myself. I hope the transmission will work, have to wait and see. The 4.6 ss is one of the best trucks I have owned so far. I think it will be worth selling your stock 25 for a savage ss.

i sold my savage 25 on ebay and brought lots of hop ups and got a ss 4.6 and i love it i and i have not even broke it in yet . i dont want to get it dirty:P

Nope. Unless you picked up a good used one that is RTR but that can be risky. I am sure your LHS would assemble it for a fee but the assembly is a fun learning experience for ya.

Alright, Well I guess I did over exaggerate (sp?) ..my 4.6 ss did not "kill" his truck...but my truck did crawl up the rear end of his when we raced....[&o]
