one way bearing
is there a heavy duty one way bearing for the savage? i installed a roto start and sometimes when i go to start it the engine doesnt turn over but the shaft spins and it sounds like the gears in the backplate spin

I don't think there is a heavy duty one, but you can take it out and clean it. Check real good to make sure it's not cracked and clean it with WD-40 or non-chlorinated brake cleaner and reinstall it. It might last you a while longer.

Also, make sure to do short 3 second or less blips of the roto, running it for a long time will increase this problem. Clean it up and you will probably be good to go.
