Project Building Savage from Scratch, IDEAS

Hiya everyone, i though id come ask some vetrens and experts who use the savage, i currently own a mt2 for just messing around with and iv desided to build a savage for scratch.

I want it to be fast and prity sturdy

Im just wondering what type of parts to use like engion ?, servos, gear box's 2 or 3 speed. exost and the likes that perform well and are really recomended by the savage comunity. money is a factor but not a big factor

Uh.... honestly, as much as individual parts cost you would be better of just buying a new Savage

Save yourself a lot of money and aggravation and simply buy an RTR 25. If you have never had experience with a Savage, it's a real BAD idea to assemble one from scratch your first time out. I bought a new Savage roller off EBay, and used an engine I already owned, did all the necessary performance upgrades, and it ended up still costing me just over $400 (but my truck was DONE, as far as mods).

ill probably just save my pennys and buy a stock one then.

buy the 4.6ss that has most mods thats if u got the cash
