TowerPro Servo?
Hello, I just stripped the gears on my old steering servo. I was looking to get a new servo and saw this Towerpro one. Does anyone know if it is any good? For it's specifications it seems cheap at only $28 including shipping.

RE: TowerPro Servo?
I have one on my 4.6 It's as strong as an Ox and will turn the wheels at rest (if you tighten up the servo saver) My only complaint is that it sounds like a bag of bolts..... But I think that's just down to the metal gears.
Get one.

RE: TowerPro Servo?
Absolutely. Although you don't need that amount of torque for the throttle/brakes really. Plus it would be a bigger drain on the battery (hump-pack to get the best results)
I used a "standard" Hitec HS-325HB for my brakes. It's more than enough for stoppies

RE: TowerPro Servo?
Thanx for the quick reply Cyberfyn, I'm going to order 2 of these units for my Savage 4.6ss (still in the box since Nov 05) and 1 more unit for a R40 I won from Fleabay :-) . I'm going to get a Airtronic's mx-3 for a radio + 1 servo, the extra servo will be used for Reverse ;-) . I wanted a synthesized radio but $$$ . Cyberfyn, do you recommend any other radio?

RE: TowerPro Servo?
I actually have the MX3-S radio. It's exactly the same as the non synthesized model bar the obvious and some cosmetics like a black aeriel and some extra model memories, so I would reccomend the MX3 no problem.
