Are piggyback shocks worth the $$$?
I've been thinking about going with a set of aluminum piggyback threaded shocks, but I would like to hear from someone who runs them. I bought my savage with t-maxx shocks, and dont like how short the travel is. I was thinking about a set of stock savage shocks for more travel, but the lhs has a set of hot bodies piggyback shocks for $75. I know as soon as I hit the track I will be bottoming out at every jump, so I need to do something different. Thanks!

Well the fact that you have T-maxx shocks on your Savage is pretty weird IMO. Get some stockers, or if you feel really good get some LST shocks.

Yeah, I thought it was strange myself. I think he used the MAXX shocks because he was planning to road race it (it is very low and stable, the arms are beyond flat, they actually angle upward tward the wheels!). I realize that bottoming is part of the game, but doing so after 6 inches of suspension travel soaks up the hit, or quickly blowing through 3 inches of travel only to lose control on the short, stiff rebound is the difference here. Thanks!
