Default USB adaptor problem

Help, I'm having problems with my AFPD!!! Everything was great until recently when it now says, USB adaptor not found and gives a search or quit box. It will have been flying for a couple of minutes before this comes on. I unplug the adaptor and replug it in and everything works fine for another couple of minutes. I am using the adaptor in one USB port and a Realflight G2 transmitter in another. At first, I thought it was the USB ports, but everything else that plugs into it works great and I've even replaced my power supply and maxxed it out to a 600W version monster. (USB's are the first to go out when there is a shortage of power to the motherboard.) This is a super computer with 2GB RAM, P4 3.0gHz, ATI x800 256MB RAM, etc. It worked fine for the last 4 months. My son, a computer guru, said the adaptor is getting hot right before it quits. I love the game and it's getting frustrating... Please HELP!!!! Thanks John S. Johnson, Lubbock, TX

More then likely the cable is defective. Ikarus is replacing the cables with new and improved ones and this sounds like the issue.

Call Mike at 239-690-0003 and they will replace it.

Sorry about that. The new cables have been improved with new resistor that stops the overheating and reduces the risk of static buildup.

Either way they will take care of you. If everything does not move smoothly let me know and I will make sure that you get taken care of as quickly as possible.

Thanks!
