Default AFPD USB Cord

hello,

i purchased the sim from OMP a little over a year recently when i plug in the usb cord i get the box that says searching unable to locate usb iterface cable?..it has never done this before? i downloaded the program on my lapyop at work and the same thing why? Is this cord hooped? is it under waranty?

Mine did that and it was just a loose connection where the transmitter adapter plugged into the USB cord. I cleaned the connection and it's been fine every since.

are you talking about the solderd part where the heatshrink is? the one i have that came with the sim is beige in color and has a big heatshrink in the middle? then i use the adapter for my 9C

The one I got had an adapter for my 9C with a plug on the cord itself. If yours is all one piece, then I'd assume you'll have to return it for repair. I opted to get the adapter one so I could learn to program my radio using the sim.

no mine is not one piece..i have the usb plug that goes into the computer then half way up the cord theirs a big splice of some sort with heat shrink over it! then it goes to the end where i have the adapter for my 9C which i bought after so i could use my own radio!!

OMP isn't open till tomorrow so i guess i'll have to wait to see what's up! i don't want to start cutting into this thing till i find out if i got warranty or not!

This sucks!!
