I had AFP and upgraded to AFPD with the 'Game Commander' controller. I do like the upgrade, however, the game commander doesn't have the precise control that I have with my Futaba or other features like dual rates.

I'd like to be able to use my Futaba 7CAP transmitter instead of the game controller. AFPD will not recognize my transmitter when I plug it in using the old USB / Futaba connector.

Any thoughts??

I have seen some 7C work while others do not. Not sure why but it could be due to internal circuitry differences. For those that work, the crystal or module has to be removed, the radio set to PPM mode, and the radio has to be switched on manually before plugging in the adapter cable.
