I have a BME Aricraft 37% Ulitmate. Have not got it fly but the kit quality is great. Should have it flying in a couple of weeks.

Thanks Mike very nice ..

At this moment I am looking to decide if to go with BME CAP 232 or with Great Planes New CAP 580 ..

I have an OS 0.61 FX ready to go on either of this birds.. the problem is that no reviews are available
from neither of them...

BME CAP is a bit larger (60 inches wings )with same weight (6 to 7.5 pds) than GP CAP 580 (55.5 in wings)

Do a search for the CAP MANIAC....... seems as though there have quite a few issues with it.

I am putting my Cap Maniac together now, and it is going together fine up to this point. Quality out of the box is very comparable to any other ARF that I have had in the past. I have seen issues in nearly every plane that I have owned. Some are visible some aren't, some are easliy remedied, some aren't. Treat it like you would any plane that you didn't put together and you should come up with a nice bird. I'm looking forward to flying mine with a Saito 100. I have not had great success with some of Great Planes ARF's but I wouldn't dismiss them. Good luck.
