I recently mounted mine inside the fuse. It is strapped down with the ignition battery with velcro. I called DA and the said that mounting the two together with velcro would pose no problem. I have never seen anyone else do it. Anyone else out there doing it?

Ive been using 4 small 3/4 inch cup holders you can buy them in a hardware store. screw them in around the ingnition, place a piece of foam underneath it, and rubber band the whole thing in place. Works great never moves and is soft mounted.

Take those 3/4 inch cup hooks. they look like a "C" with a threaded end to them. Screw them into the top of the motor box ina square pattern around the ignition, about an two inches away from the ignition. Sort of like rubber banding a wing on a trainer for example. Then put a piece of foam underneath the ignition module, I also use some double sided tape, and then rubber band the ignition module down by criss-crossing the rubber bands to the cup hooks. just make sure the open end of the hooks are facing to the outside. works great. i would posta picture, but I do not have one. Like I said its a soft mount that in eight years Ive never had a problem. I usually put the ignition on the top of the motor box and the battery on the bottom mounted the same way. I hope this is clearer.

I used a bit of leftover ply for mine.
Did two small plywood rails top and bottom with epoxy to engine box, and then a ply plate on top of the rails just the size of my ignition... (leaving a gap in the middle of the plate) Then a quick screw through the top and bottom plate into the engine box. Put one side of velcro on the plate, and the other side of velcro on the ignition (to act kinda like a shock absorber too!) And then a velcro strap around it all (through the gap created by using the plywood rails, and then the plate on top of the rails)
Good luck!
