I have decided to take the plunge and get into IMAC style fling. I have obtained a YS 1.10 and was thinking about matching this engine with a Vectorflight Edge 540. Will this be a good combination for IMAC flying and competition? Does anyone suggest a different combination for this engine. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help, Marc

Two Cents, anyone? I'm a little worried that I fork out the cash for this plane only to find out that it might not be within the "10% Rule". Anyone flying one of these for IMAC? Will the YS 1.10 provide unlimited vertical? Will George Lucas find a was to destroy the Indiana Jones movies like he did with the Star Wars Movies? These questions and more have yet to be answered. Anyone?

i am not sure about the imac thing,i have the VF 540 and use an os 91 on it that does pretty darn good, and with the power of a ys im sure it would be just that much better.the 91 will pull that plane straight up,it falls off after about 300 feet or so.to me and IMO it is a little heavy.i have pictures posted of the one i built here somewhere.for the flying i do which is sport type i have a blast with it....happy flying

Thanks for the reply Horace. I'm not really concerned about the weight of this plane. From my understanding is that it is designed that way, ie.. a fully sheeted fuse and fully sheeted foam core wings. The YS I have bought is the first one I have owned but from doing research I have heard that it pulls as good as most 120 to 140 sized four strokes. I'm looking at using this plane for Sport and IMAC type flying so the wieght won't be too much of a consideration, as this plane was not designed for 3d type flying.
