Hi, I'm a new pilot that went from the trainer to a H9 Twist with the help of a sim. I love that sim. I think I'd like to get into IMAC/Pattern and would at the same time try at an electric. Another concern is size. I would like to be able to fly in town at a large soccer field, due to the club field being about 30 mins from home. I have been looking at the Fliton, Hyperion, Brio, Mini Katana, and Extreme Flight Extra 300. So I suppose I could use suggestions/opinions on size(I'd like to go small but flight character is very important), fuel vs. E, and the previous models pros and cons or suggestions for others for IMAC/Pattern.
Thank you for your time and help,
Tyler

Out of those you mention, I have flown the Brio, Extreme Flight Extra, and a Mini Katana (they all belonged to a friend of mine). By far, the best is the Extreme Flite Extra. It flies the precision stuff a little better than the Brio, particularly knife-edge stuff. The Brio does not do 3D nearly as well as the Extra.
When I finish up some of my other projects, if there is any money left over I am going to get an EF Extra.
You will certainly be able to takeoff/land in a soccer field, but the over-flight area will need to be larger. If there are no trees in the way, you should be fine.
