The current rules seem rather consistent and logical to me - put a realistic pilot in your plane or take a 1% hit. This has never been a big deal at any contest I have been to - those who don't have a realistic pilot installed know that they face a pentaly. Big whoop.

I'm new to imac. (fly pattern) But I didn't put a pilot in my extra. There is a panel though. How many contests actually enforce this rule? Especially out here in Cali...

Thanks

Chris

Last year none........but everyone expected the rule to go away for 2007.

For 2007, not sure how many contests will require it
