Question about Buddy BoxThrottle programming for a P70

Master Tx is a Futaba 12Z that is properly programmed for the P70 throttle. Failsafe works properly using two channels (THR and AUX).
Im setting up a Futaba 9C to be used as the Buddy Box and want to know where to set the 9C endpoints for the THR. The base endpoint settings are at 75 and 75 for Full and Idle matching what is in the 12Z.
Using the GSU R/C check menu with the 12Z at full THR Stick Pulse is 1237 and 100% idle THR Stick Pulse is 1765 and 26%
When I turn over to the 9C at full THR Stick Pulse is 1246 and 100% idle THR Stick Pulse is 1755 and 26.6%
My understanding of the programming is that the 9C settings must be within the range of the 12Z settings. It looks like my Idle setting and Full setting are within the range of the 12Z Is this correct??
Thanks,
Pete

Hi Pete,
Your right that the settings from the buddy Box Box transmitter should be in the range of the master transmitter and it seems that your values almost match. You may adjust these value on your buddy box transmitter by using the subtrim an the throw values of the gas channel to get exactly the same as for your master.
Do not forget that your master also uses the trim and you have to consider to set the buddies throttle low value to the master low value+trim set to highest value, otherwise your engine will stop running when switching. Small value differences do not matter, eventually your engine will run a little bit higher or slower on buddy box mode, but this is no issue.
Just try everything on the ground; I use the buddy box with a Graupner MC24 and a Jeti DC16 with no problems.
