I have a new JR 378 radio (used once) with a JR 770 SPCM rx and a Raptor 30 V2. I crashed the raptor due to a complete radio lockout - the controls just stop working. I test the Rx by tapping it with the back of a screwdriver when I tap the rx it cut out when the tapping stop it works 100%. I send in the Rx and apparently the soldering was coming off - or something like that. My problem is the Rx is about 10 months old and only flown about 9 times. The Rx was bought brand new and all other components. Befor the JR 378 I had a JR MAxx 66 radio. When I crashed it was the first time with the new. Was my Rx just one of those unlucky ones?

Sorry to hear about the loss of your heli. Possibly so, or it was possibly damaged as a result of the impact. Sometimes this can be determined while evaluating the receiver, but other times it may not be possible to tell. The 770 receiver has been a very solid and excellent performing receiver for us.
