JR 8103 and V-Tail
A buddy of mine just completed his Beechcraft Bonanza with a V-Tail. Can the 8103 configure V-Tail or ruddervators? if so could you explain? There is nothing in the manual about it.

RE: JR 8103 and V-Tail
Hi,
Another way to do it if you dont want a picture of a glider on your screen, you can put it in normal plane model, and use any 2 programable mixes. I use mix #5 and 6. You want one of these to mix elevator to rudder 100%, and on the other mix rudder to elevator 100%. Switch them on permanantly. You need to fiddle around a bit with servo reversing and either postitve or negative mixing to get everything working the right way.
Also, the rudder on a V-tail works oppostie to what the alierons work like, ie. when you give right rudder, the right half will go down, and the left half will go up.
Why JR only put a factory v-tail mix in the glider mode I dont know....
