Fellow Modlers,

I am attempting to use Pot 5 to adjust my ailerons up and down together, as described in the manual on page 96. Pot 5, however, never appears on the display as I scroll through the parameter list. Pot 7 shows up, but not Pot 5. I am in glider mode, and in dual flap mode. Please Help!

I found the same problem on my 347 too. I have no pot 5 display at all. but on my 783 radio it is there. I guess when i send it in for ccpm activation I will have them fix it it. It may have gone out when they replace the lith battery, Because the trim knob on my 347 is out. I fly Heli mode only but still it should be there.

Come to think about it, I sent mine off for lithium battery replacement recently also!

You should be able to press the channel right key (the key next to the DN key) while at the POT function and it should then switch to POT 5.

this POT 5 function dose'nt display on the screen of my 347 but on my 783 it is there. You can't activate it if it is'nt there to do so ??So how do I get it to show up on display??It is listed in the manual but is'nt in the radio??

Did you hit the key I mentioned while at the pot function? Are you in sailplane mode?

there is no pot 5 function while Im in glider mode. YES I can find it on the XP 783 radio BUT not on the X347 radio. I can't hit the key function if something it is not there.The function is not there on the screen ???but (it is listed in the manual) can you fix it?? Could this function have been lost after the lithium battery was replaced???Because that trim knob dosn't work at all now in any mode.

Go to the POT.7 function, press the 3rd key over from the left which is the CH> key. This should bring up POT.5.

there is no pot 7 function or pot 5 function on the display at all in glider mode on my 347 .the function is not there.

I do not see a way to deactivate this function. If you don't have dual flap activated POT 7 will not show up, but POT 5 will. The POT function is in between program mix A and Mix SP function. I can not find anyway to deactivate this or shut it off so that it will not show up. I'm not sure why your system would not have it.

you finally got it. I would like to know if you can re activate it again or was this a manufacture problem not found. I found it on my XP783 display screen and it is there But I go round and round and it is not there on my X347 display screen. This is the same problem the other forum member was trying to tell you but you kept telling him it was there when it is'nt. So there is a problem somewhere can you fix it.

Sorry it took me so long to get back. It's been a busy week!

Unfortunately, I am still having the same problem as the other member. When out of dual flap mode, no pot function at all shows up. In dual flap mode, pot 7 only shows up. Pressing the CH button at the Pot 7 function does not change to Pot 5. Could changing the lithium battery have messed something up? Can I send it back to be fixed?

POT 7 becomes active when v-TL is active. But POT 5 is a separate function all together. It should be in the menu but is not there and it controls aileron mixing (mixAL-F) and that is not there because you have to activate pot 5. So you have the same problem as me. No POT 5 function to activate because it is not there on the display screen. So there is a manufacture problem. POt 5 function needs to be added or activated to the radio to work.

I have a Us manual and the radio dos'nt nave ccpm mixing. I would have to send it in to activate it.

If I send the radio in for service, what would be necessary? Reload the microprocessor program? Replace the micro? How much would it cost?

If all that is required is a CPU reset, it should be around 1 or 2 units of labor which is $7.50 per unit.
