Default 8231 Servos Chattering

Hi Danny,

My question is about the 8231 servos chattering at neutral.
This starts by taping the control surface that the servo is
attached to, or by vibration and can be stopped by moving
the control stickoff center or placing a finger on the control surface.

Could this be caused by worn or dirty pots ?

It could be worn or dirty pots. Generally when they stop with light pressure they are fine to fly, but if it is happening only in one spot it may be that the pot is worn. If the servos have some time on them and this issue has developed over time, it might be a good idea to send them in for a check up whenever it is convienient.
