Default JR 4721 service

Hi Danny

I have about 15 JR4721 servos that are still in pretty good shape.

A few of them ( 3 or 4 ) "jutter" a bit and I have taken them out of service
(they still work otherwise).

They are all still good servos. It's a shame to "toss them"

I am considering sending the whole lot in to the Horizon service departement
for "overhaul"

I expect the proper thing to do would be to replace the pots and motors.

Just wondering if anybody does this with their servos. Is it worth it? Is
it more expense than it's worth?

Thanks for the advice.

Bob,
If the jittering is caused by the servos, it would be the pots most likely. I would say it would be worthwhile to check them out to see if they can be brought back to new again. The motors are probably fine, I suspect that they would not need to be replaced.
