Default JR Receivers and 6 Volts

Hi All

I was wondering if anybody could please shed any light on the issue of running 6 Volts and the use of JR Receivers? I am looking at doing this on a new Fiberclassics Extra, by running 2100mAH Nickel Metal Hydride packs (1 for each receiver) through JR 9 Channel PCM Receivers.

I will also be using the large JR Switch's.

Should I be using a regulator? If so, is there a particular model and type?

Will I experience problems with the receivers in running 6 Volts?

Any help is appreciated.

Regards
Chris

There will be no problems caused by running a 6 volt system. The only potential issue is perhaps a little servo jitter on a fresh charge. A regulator will help with that, and also keep your voltage constant through every flight, which is beneficial. I use the Jaccio/Custom Electronics Regulators on a regular basis. This regulator is part number CEL1255.
