I have a TF C182 that I fitted a Robart nose gear pn 654 to.
It seems that the forks on this gear just do not have the required strenght to
withstand any side load without bending over like they were made of plasticene.
Does anyone have similar experiences and fixes?
Robart has a gear for the Hanger9 C182, would be a bit beefier I would think and probably not
much bigger as the H9 C182 is a little but not hugly bigger than the TF.
Any thioughts would be appreciated!

Robart sells a replacement for that part:

If it is covered by the whell pant, you could try some beef-up with J&B weld
