Andy,
The plans for the Kraft Ugly Stick that I have show 61" wings with the tips included. The fuselage is 41.8. From the prop to the tip of the rudder it is 49". 49/61= 80% Shorter than what you've quoted. I just want it to fly like a stick. Then again I supposed you could ask just what is a stick since there have been so many different models kitted and manufactured by different people over the years. I'll shut up now.

John,
I like the planes and I am with you, as long as it flies good! I have a GP 40 size and had a H9 120. I really like the GP but the H9 was a little on the heavy side probably why they might the light version.

Hobbsy,
Do you have any 4 stroke radials? That would be just to cool looking on a Stick! I've not been running so much glow, not so much the price, just not to good at taking the time to clean the oil off. I still like the sound of 4 strokes and O love the look of a radial.

John,
On a Great Planes Giant Stick the fuselage is roughly 95% of the length of the wing. On the Hangar 9 Ultra Stick 120 the ratio is roughly 85%, does that make one of these not a Stick?
Andy
Actually if I could have had a 2 piece wing on the Hangar 9 I'd been pretty close to perfect!

IMHO, it has to have scallops and a round rudder, so, yes, Hangar 9 model is definitely something else!

The neat thing about building from a kit is it is really easy to turn it into what you want. Want scallops - sand them in, want a square tail - build it.
If it come with the stab on the bottom of the fuselage like the original and you want it on the top - change it. Damn I like kits.

Hobbsy,
Thats cool!
I had a Saito .72 on my GP 40 size but was having a little trouble getting the prop to clear the grass, good runner though. I noticed you were selling stuff off in the market. I hope you can get a new one or ones soon!

Ok, looks like it will fit in my car, now I need to figure out funding. [sm=tongue_smile.gif] I have not owned something this large, what kind of servo's are we talking here ? Not even sure what power plant either, I'll have to think about that too.

Andy,
A good value for your money on the servo's are the Hitec HS645MG's. These are high torque servo's and thay are reasonably priced. They can be found for around $35 a pop. I am using them in my 33% Waco and 33% J-3 Cub.

Michel that looks nice, the wing looks like it is built nice and light. Add a Spandau machine gun on top and a WWI pilot and go have fun
Later!!!
