Sig Four Star-52-Big Stik-Smoothie thing.
I don't know what to call it yet but I have a general idea of what I want to do. I have my second 4*40 on the way and my 3rd 4* build as I have built the 60 version also. Great flying planes! [&:]
I'm going to do something that's out of the box thinking. First of all I have a Magnum .52 RFS that runs great and needs a home, like a 4*40 and I plan to cover it with antique Solartex since that's what I have laying around. Since this plane represents no bird that has anything to do with WWW1, I plan to rip off the GP Big Stik. But with a low wing.
I have gave this a lot of thought. Solartex is heavy and my last 4*40 weighed in at 5lbs. I plan on building the topside without the turtle deck and making it flat like a Stik. And possibly omitting the front cheeks to let the 4 stroke jus hang!
And cut one wing bay.

If you are going to just make it a box with wings, why not just scratch build it and save the full kit for another day?
