To my knowledge, there is no such thing as too much engine. The only thing you need to keep in mind is the extra weight of the engine and the additional balast that will need to be added to get the plane to balance out. I would not have any problem putting up to a .90 on that plane and you would probably have unlimited vertical performance and be able to hover the SS with the .70 or better with a good well tuned engine.

The Supertiger .75 would be good if they run as well as their .45's.

Here is one of my current projects, GS P-47. almost done just need belly pan and wing fillets. on my 60 size P-47 i am using electric retracks (Lado) they can be made to act like scale.

These older kits were designed around engines of the time which were a bit less powerfull than thier equivalents today. So by going larger your actually going larger than you think. But the .75 sounds good to me if you can get it for a good price. It will haul turkey though at WOT. I would stick with a 60 size tank due to what I'm sure would be space issues.

Just recvd email sale from hobby people on magnum engines.... 2 stroke .61 for 99! 4 dtroke .91 for 159...

Too bad the Tower 0.75 is not available. That engine is a beast of performance.

Looks like this kit is now discontinued good thing I got mine when I did. I was checking GP website for the on line manual no longer listed along with the Extra 300in the 40 size. So I just had topick one up I was planning on waiting till I had the sportster done oh well.
