Hey guys,

I picked up a CG Super Chipmunk kit a couple of years ago and just now getting back on it to finish it up. Not sure what happened, but somewhere along the way, I have lost the tail wheel bracket/rod. So I was looking for a tail wheel setup I could use.

I found one on TH's site but not sure if it will work or not with the Chippy's rudder. Anybody else use a different wheel setup that was easy to do?

I used a sulivan tail wheel and I think a 4-40 rod from the bracket to the rudder and then soddered the rod in to the wheel collar

As I am building one as we speak, you can use any bracket, but you need to get some piano wire and bend up the wire as the part that fits into the rudder has to pass up throught the fuselage to get into the rudder. Good luck, Dave
