RE: New Builder just join the forum!!
After looking on the RCGroups threats, I think he is rather a inexperienced then a scammer.
His initial post sounds like 'here comes the [drum roll] biggest and greatest rc plane designer'
More likely he has very few projects to work on and tries to build a business.
He offers engine work and asks in that forum for help, I'd expect he should know the little tricks.
And then there are 6 people working for him? Maybe his wife and kids are helping out, you'd need lots of orders
to pay off full time employees. And a small town hobby shop alone doesn't pay the bills.
Now - this guy may do some good work, the services he offers now are not for kit builders here, we don't need someone to build our
kit or assemble our ARF. And we can break in and repair our engines ourselves. If this was someone local, I'd consider it, but this way you don't know if and what you get back.
I'd be interested in some new kits - maybe a Horten HO 229 with 60 - 80" WS?
Or a Jodel Robin or Remos? They are beautiful scale planes, not the foam version.
There is a lot of potential here, HK even started to sell kits now, just some tiny stuff though.
We have enough Extras, Edges, Cubs, Corsairs , there are lots of other planes to turn into a model...

Did any of you guys notice the thread title ?
It says "NewBuilder just joined theforum"
"New Builder" appears contradictory to the other claims.
The kid can be blamed for the choice of words as well as the spelling ?

Chris, I looked at your site. Sorry, but you need a good proof-reader to make the best impression on the web. Good luck with it, keep us posted.

Can someone tell us what "perectly blanced" implies? Also, what are "Nirto Engines"?

I tell my kids this.
"Don't brag about yourself, If your that good at what you DO, ( this means you have to show a history by example of something you have done really well) people will "brag" about you."
Not as polite to my kids as written here, but the idea is the same.
I have also noticed when people say " I've been doing this for 30 years now" doesn't really support it's the right or best way. I has just worked for 30 years for some individual.
Good luck in the new year Gents

That got a bunch of laughs.
I prefer dealing with a person of humility because I know they are more mature instead of dealing with someone that has been making the same mistakes for 30 years and doesn't get it.

Well said Luchnia, I'm not that old but old enough ( got to see part of the 80's) to know that usually the guys or gals that tend to be more reserved are the most experienced.

I like the "Been doing this for 30 years" comment.
I used to work for a pyrotechnics company, and at one show a firefighter came up and said he had "done the shows for the last 10 years." After he left our lead guy said to us, That means ten shows, we do 15 a year, There is a little bit of a difference in experience.
As a young guy, it really hit me how to properly address your experience when talking to professionals,
Sorry just brought back memories

All jokes aside for the moment, I hope the guy gets his act together and starts givng some acurate info and does well. One thing is for sure, he is not starting out of the gate very good!
What would be a good path for this guy is to step back for a moment, retract the silly statements that most anyone can prove false, and find someone that would mentor him along in his career.
He may be heading for a lot of disapointment and discouragement in the future with lost revenue to go along with it.

There was recently a discussion about that subject somewhere in this forum.
That would involve about 300 containers a year and what is the typical cost. .

This is a prime example of "No child left behind" failed education system. They can't read, can't write complete sentences, can't do arithmetic and can't spell.
This guy is hilarious!!!

Where did he get the 30 years experience from. In the beginning he claimed that he has been "doing this since I was 19" Then later he stated that he was in his mid 40s. That's only 20 years.

It was a different story from Luchnia, Not from the OP
