Today I took a break from the riveting delirium. I did finish the right aileron and flap, then moved onto the gear.
Got the gear all installed and ready for testing with the 3P valve. Tomorrow I plan on moving Miss Fire out of the shop, on to her feet and into the trailer. Should have most of the setup done tomorrow.

I can relate with the nausea thing as I have meniers disease and if I look at any thing close for to long and then look up the whole world goes ape so I have to hang on to something for 20 to 60 sec for things to settle down.
Hope yo post a pic with it on its feet for the first time.

Wing progress.
On the rivets after installing over 50,000 over the last year or so I have come up with a pretty solid way of doing them.
I first cut them into strips anywhere 2" to 6" depending on what I am doing.
I use a sheet of thick styrene as my application table. This gives you a clean and solid surface to work the rivets, plus the tape wont stick to hard to it. You want the tape to stick to keep the rivets from moving around.
I use two small thin pieces of styrene to hold the ends, then I lay a strip and place the clear tape over it. I use a mixing stick to release the rivets, 6-10 passes does the trick.
I pull up 90 degrees to release the rivets then apply them to the model, repeat over and over, just don't over do it like I did. After the second day I got car sick and have to take breaks.
With the wing construction all done and completely covered. I moved onto setup and final installation, I ran out of rivets.
Ailerons and flaps are all installed.
I detailed the hinge pockets of the flaps only.

On the flaps I am at 1" on the servo arm and get the throw I want. As the arm is short there is no slop at all.
On the aileron the geometry is short on the aileron arm so I used the second from the center hole on the servo arm. This gives a short movement as full throw is about an inch and I have it set for 1/2" on low and just over 3/4" on high for now. With the short arm the aileron does not move at all even with the power off it is very hard to rotate it .
The gear is all installed and the doors are adjusted and working great.

I have a system that allows me to never flip the plane upsidown, my setup stand is made from 3/4" ply and let's me mount the wing from underneath, works pretty good. I only use the foamy for construction and cut them down removing the flimsy wings, just been going at top speed, time to take a break.

I think more or less all US flying videos are crazy, people can't get enough power and seems like the old birds is going supersonic. Wonder if people have seen these real life? Nice high speed passes but needs to pick up the speed. A 85 is more than enough anyway and the heavy Biela propeller works nice at low setting as well.

some progress on the wing
Right bottom is done.
One half takes a full day to do and about a sheet and a half of rivets. That's about 5,500 rivets per side of wing, total 20,000 rivets for the wing....roughly.
I still need to do the nomenclatures, I will do them when the plane is all done.
Half way done with the wing as I have the left bottom and right top still to do.....plugging away.
