I am in the process of building a 1/5 scale Pica Cessna 182. I have mostly finished building up the fuselage, but there is one major part that has got me stumped. I could use some help identifying where this goes. It looks like it should go somewhere near the landing gear, but the plans show the whole bottom being sheet and block balsa. The ABS part is 7"x3" by about 1" thick. Thanks in advance. Ron

l also have one of these kits, give to me about 15 years ago by a friend who had it given to him about 20 years prior to that. I don't recognize this piece, possibly the instrument panel? Mine uses a balsa block for the instr. panel though.

Thanks bhady. I think you nailed it. It didn't come to me at all that it would be an instrument panel, but I Googled the plane and found a picture where you could see it installed. Thanks help, Ron.
