I went all gas not long ago. If I was building one today. It would have a DLE35RE and I would make the engine mount inverted. Not that I think a 1.60 or 3250 is a bad engine. I just think a gassed would be a better choice.

Not a fan of gas... for a bunch of reasons. Power for one, don't like the weed eater sound, etc.
But thanks for the suggestion.

That's cool. To each his own. I will say I was the same way for many years. Modern gas engines converted me. The sound of my DLE20 is annoying. The DLE30 is not much better. But the DLE35RE with the rear exhaust and twin outlet muffler has a good mellow sounds.

I have both the DLE-35RA and DA-35, they both have plenty of power and they both don't sound like weed wacker engines. My DA is a power house and has more power than the DLE-35, but the DLE is more affordable. Not trying to change your mind, but I think it is an option that you may want to reconsider... I have an unopened US-1000 kit that when I decide to start will get fitted with the DA-35 engine.
