Default Cya glue and waxed paper

Will cya glue melt wax paper?
will cellulose glue not stick to wax paper?
should I use normal yellow or white glue with wax paper
it’s been years, I’m 80 and forgot about glue etc.

thanks

Depending on far back you go, you'll probably find that waxed paper doesn't have as much wax as before. I have found that thin CA sticks to it, but the waxed paper does prevent the CA from getting to your plans. The other glues do not stick to the waxed paper.

Yes, the newer waxed papers use a different kind of wax than what they used years ago. It is more solid, not waxy feeling. I've found that CA kinda sticks but the paper can easily be pulled off. I just used wax paper for a 100" glider build and it worked just fine with minimal problems. Clear plastic wraps might be a better choice these days but I'd use wax paper again. Look for a thicker clear wrap w/o texture or it can be a pain to handle.
