I just got a hold of a Dubro #517 2-56 pull-pull system. I am building a Balsa USA Citabria Pro, w/an 80" wingspan and an Enya 1.55 4-stroke.
Question is, will it be strong enough for it? I have heard a few people say no problem, ,and others say switch to 4-40 to be safe. Then again, others say 4-40 is overkill. So what's the deal? This plane seems to be on the barrier to large scale planes, but it weighs in at only about 12 pounds.
Any advice here would be much appreciated, since I don't know whether to upgrade to 4-40 or not. Feel free to weigh in.
Patriot.
Ahhh, decisions, decisions.............[sm=rolleyes.gif]

My Feedback: (13)
I would go with 4-40. Just fitted that exact system to my Goldberg Ultimate.
If I'm thinking of the correct plane, that Citabria is very agile, tempting one to throw it around.
Anyway, the weight gain will be negligible. The peace of mind is forever...
