Ok guys It's getting close, just thought I'd post it for everyone to see. Still saving for the saito gk.72 in the showcase at the LHS. It's got my name on it. I weighed it the other day and it came in at 1 pound 1 ounce. I hope this will offset the servos in the tail.

Miloh:

As the "Official" posted weight for the FA-72 is 16.6 ounces I'll assume you do not mean the airplane weighs a pound and an ounce.

But why did you post the same picture twice? Not that it doesn't look good, but isn't once enough?

Haw.

Yea the Saito is what I was refering to when stateing wieght, as to the posting of the same photo twice I hold my head in shame. I looked at it before posting and did not even notice. Hmmmmm........ lets concider this photo. My medication for the neck surgery has run out but the pain has not. Actually I had two photos to post and got the same one twice.
The plane as it sits right now comes in at 2 pounds 13 ounces. add 2 pounds liberaly for radio gear and wheels then 1.5 pounds for the motor and you have less than 6.5 pounds total for this plane. Dam thats light for 70 inch airplane.

Miloh:

What I liked was your, uh, "Cough Syrup." I sometimes like the cough syrup from Bourbon county Kentucky, but in the last few years I've become partial to the single malt Scottish cough syrup.

I've been known to pop a top or 12 when building. CA and beer can get a little touchy. I had (note had) a habit of holding the CA bottle up close to my ear and listening for a whoosh of air to tell if the tip was clogged.

Then I started buying CA in those big bottles and refilling my little bottles. Re-filled my thin CA bottle a little too full. Held up by ear to listen. Shot thin CA all over ear and side of face. CA kicked. Cussing ensued. Luckily, I didn't get any deep into my ear, but my face drawed up like scar tissue.

Glad you got your firewall fixed...did you notice your wing saddle is backwards?? <JK>
