Default Pull-Pull tailwheel steering

Hello all, I am in the process of building a TF 1/5 scale P-47. Robart retractable tail gear,
set up for pull-pull steering. My question is, what keeps the cables from going slack when
the gear is retracted? The problem I see happening is, when the gear goes up the cables
go slack and the gear flops to one side or the other, preventing the gear from retracting
complety, or worse yet, not extending. Is this a problem or am I imagining a problem that
isn't there?

Mike

Don't worry about it. If you DO have a problem with it flipping, add a little resistance to the bearing. Not so much that the servo has to strain to turn the wheel, but enough so that it won't turn on it's own.

Thanks Mike, I would never have thought of that. I was leaning
toward some kind of spring on each side of the cable.
