Anyone have any experience with the GP Ultimate and a .91 4stroke up front? LHS has one for sale, thinking about it...

There have been some discussion with Saito .91's aboard. Do a search on the Ultimate.

I have a gp ultimate with a tt91 4stroke. it has unlimited vertical, but is heavy. I crashed it last summer and just finished repairing it. I'm thinking of putting a 60 size 2 stroke motor in it. A 4 stroke is too much in my opinion.

A 4-stroke 70 is great in this plane. Like rcplanes711 said, a 91 would make it pretty heavy

Minn...an OS FS70II weighs in at 20.1oz, while a Saito 91 tips the scales at 18.3oz. The 91 falls outside GP's recommended range, so any warranties would be voided. You can get a YS63 with nearly the same power, for the same price as the Saito 91, and you save almost half an ounce of weight.

Well, if you can do it without the weight gain, then obviously the weight wouldn't be an issue... But hold on to your socks! That will be one FIRECRACKER with a 91!!

I have a GP Ultimate that I'm planning on mounting a Saito 91 on and the only problem I've come up with so far is running the throttle linkage. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do that?
