Can anyone provide recommendations on the control throws? I can't find any mention in the book.
Currently I have:
Ail 3/4 Up 7/8 Down
Ele 1" up and down
Rudder 1"
Any comments would be helpful!
Regards

I have a Sig 1/4 scale clipped cub with a powerful gasser up front that I have been flying since the first of the year. It depends on what type of flying you want to do, but if you want a fairly acrobatic Cub.... this is what I have done.
Max out the ailerons and rudder for maximum movement and then use your expo to dampen the smaller stick movements. I think my expo is at about 50%. If you are careful... I even do this on the elevator. Mine snaps great and right now. Stall turns and flat spins are great with the full rudder. The rolls are pretty good with those barn door ailerons.
The safe way to go is with the above setting on your high rates and the conservative settings on your low rates. However once you get used to the high rates you will never switch her back. Attached is a photo of mine.

Ooops! I forgot one word of warning. Mine is pretty heavy with the dope finish and the big gasser (15lbs). I have had just a couple close calls with a stall after a "stall turn" that is to low. These low airspeed manuvers without adequate altitude can bite you. The big surfaces can stall at very low airspeeds and dampens your control dramaticly and that ground comes up pretty fast. Those low stall turns and pulling up close to the runway are pretty dramatic though!
Otherwise the stalls just mush forward. No nast snaps when you do not want one. Oh well, just my 2 cents worth.
