Default 4*40 engine mounting

Hello all,

I am building a 4*40 kit with a Rossi 40 engine, and I was wondering if I could mount the engine horizontally (rotated 90 degrees to the right)?
The problem is, that in order to do that I have to lower the engine center line in about 1/2''-3/4''.

Thank you in advance,

Ari

I rotated mine about 45degrees so that the muffler would still clear the fuse and then built a cowl to cover it based off of Tom Pierce's website.

Thanks Connery, but my Rossi can't seem to get in, in 45 degrees - it's too wide [].
Please people, tell me if there are any problems with mounting the engine at 90 degrees?

Thanks again,

Ari [8D]
