I am putting together one of these planes and have a question. They have you use a channel of plastic for the wires from the Rudder and Elevator. I need to get longer extensions what size have people used for this plane? Also the extensions are to thick for both to fit in channel. How have other ex-treme builders done it?

12 inch extensions work good, 18 if you want to really give yourself enough room to lplay with. You have to cut out the back side of the plastic rectangular tube and connect the extensions at that point. I also used a piece of dental floss to wrap around the two where they connect to make sure they don't vibrate loose, it worked out well.

Bob, take the easy way out and just put some ultracote over the top of them or it looks does not bother you some clear packing tape works great.
