Goldburg Extra 300
Santa is planning on bringing me a Goldburg Extra 300 (OK so I call my alter personality Santa But he treats me well) And figured I would go to the best source for the best mods and tips (AHH That would be you guys here on RCU) So let me know any tips or things to look out for in the kit. Plans are to put a 120 4-stroke and might get the aluminum landing gear and can barely wait to start this build but gotta wait for the funds to free up ( gotta buy gifts for every one else before myself DOH)

RE: Goldburg Extra 300
Hi there I just finished my CG Extra 300.Its a good plane but has a few misses .One the landing gear needs to be replaced with either glass or Alum.If you add 2 servos to the elevator you will need to make another servo tray .I suggest that you use 2 servos in the wing .I also added 1 1/2 inches to the width of my rudder for better knife egde's .Also did away with the Plastic parts and went to all glass (cowl and pants)Also used Metal horns and all 4-40 hookups, 425 BB Hitech servos power the control surfaces. Its a fun fit to build just follow the instructs and ya cant go wrong .I covered mine useing Monokote and I hope the pics work . oh almost forgot i'm useing a 91 FX and a Bisson incowl muff .very clean install. Happy Landings
