I have a .61FX in mine and the performance is anything but dull. This airframe is really overdone. I took care when I was building mine to remove excess material in the fuselage to offset the added engine weight. I also located my battery below the stab prior to covering so my plane would balance without adding weight.

I really love this plane and am just beginning to explore its possibilities. There's nothing like flying low over the field and then pulling up and going up up up until the plane is just a dot in the sky. You can also make BIG round loops and immelmans. The .61 is the way to go. It also sounds cool with a Brisson pitts style muffler.

I used an OS 70 in mine and I thought that combo was ideal!

I have a 4 * 40 with the .50sx. It's great in the 4 *, I would imagine it would be just as good in the GP.

I'm building the same plane and I plan on using the os fl 70 it weighs nearly the same as an os 46 ax.
