New Top Flight Piper Arrow II
Just saw the web page for the new Piper Arrow II. $250.00. 80" WS
We have all been talking about no new kits, well here's one! I think the price is a little steep but we will see if Santa can bring me one.

Airframe features CAD-designed wood parts for perfect first-time fits and an ABS cowl, tail cone and clear canopy for no-shape ease.
Balsa sheeting on the fuselage, wings and tail help reproduce the original's true contours and form a perfect surface for covering.
Includes formed aluminum landing gear and a generous hardware package.
Easy to "detail out" with Top Flite's optional Cockpit Kit or Robart's custom-made pneumatic retracts.
Smooth and stable, with a full-flying stabilizer for powerful elevator control and externally mounted servos for aileron and flap surfaces.

Looks like a re-do of the Bonanza, yes?

Do you guys think with a Magnum .91 2 stroke, Bission muffler and Hitec 5625 servos I could keep the price to around $1500.00? I know what I'm going to be doing tonight - playing with a spreadsheet. I really want one but the budget is limited. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
John

I wonder how this would be with a RCS 140 gasser in it? I know there is room for the engine but is the structure heavey enough to support the added weight up front? Suppose weight would be required in tail to achieve proper CG?
